Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational requires an online pass. New copies include a code, while an online pass can be purchased through PSN for used or downloaded copies.

Purchasing Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational through PSN slashes the price of the online pass, so picking up the game at retail or going the download route will ultimately end up costing you the same amount of money. Update: Destructoid has updated its post, saying that the online pass is actually included in the PSN download and doesn't need to be downloaded separately.
